Since 2010, Sterling Grey has worked diligently around one simple goal:
Utilize our vast industry knowledge, creativity, and quality of workmanship to design and build retail environments that are tailored to each individual client’s needs.
Taking our past experience that spans two full decades of retail and store design prior to Sterling Grey, where the scope and diversity of our projects ranged from retail mall planning, to private clubhouse schematic designs, to detailing bespoke jewelry vitrines, we apply that knowledge to the newest generation of retail settings. Diverse projects ranging from elaborate brick and mortar stores to mobile boutiques and “pop-up” retail, we understand the past and future direction that retail is headed.
Understanding that our greatest strengths stem from creativity, we work in a relaxed yet driven environment, extending the time required as necessary outside traditional set schedules. Our work setting provides the necessary equipment and resources to design, explore our creativity, and convey our concepts to our client, yet for Sterling Grey, time spent in the field is just as valuable as time spent in the office. Whether it’s jumping in the truck or catching the next flight, traveling many miles a year to meet face to face with our clients is an integral part of our process. It is through these in-person introductions to both our clients and their facilities that we gain further knowledge to who they are, what they need, and how we can guide their path to retail success.
Our Symbol
Interwoven letters embracing a single pinecone are the symbolic representation of our company’s existence and overarching goal. The pinecone has historically been seen as a symbol for longevity and enlightenment. The entwined letters represents a connection to the collaborative process each and every project takes. From our letterhead to end our product, we strive to keep this icon synonymous with what we expect and strive for. We look to this “mystic seed” to provide guidance and direction for the life of the company, our product and services.
Sterling Grey believes that design is, and should be, a collaborative experience between designer, client, and craftsman. We extend our personalized expertise to every project, yet relish in the collaborations with the specialists and craftsmen we have brought aboard our team in the past.
Since the inception of Sterling Grey, simply designing and detailing a project was never enough to meet our company goal. Fabricating and guiding both our project and client through to installation and grand opening has been key to our success.
